Photo Shoot

Went up the country just to hang out on a farm, and some strange girl lurking around started taking photos...

Thanks Madi!

The Empress

Well, it has been a month of busy Tuesdays at The Empress, welcoming new band members, instruments, and of course songs. Thanks to everyone who has made it down to this charming little venue in Nicholson Street. The turn-outs have been great! The next set of gigs will be a Wednesday night residency at the Wesley Ann in March. For now, its back to recording the new album!

EP Design and Cover Art

Through a nice little connection (thanks Tresa!) we were able to get Michelle from Michelle LeClerc Design in L.A to do the Art Direction and Design for our little debut EP - check out some of her work here. How cool is the banner with hand-drawn typography she did for us? Elsewhere on the EP there's a font created by Amy Fortunato called Quandary. Very cool.

Live Sunday Session

We were lucky enough to spend an hour at the 'Live Sunday Session' on 88.3 Southern FM last weekend and play some new songs we've been working on. Was a great little experience and luckily the friendly folk at 88.3 FM are going to put the entire show up on their website as a podcast sometime soon if you missed us.

In the meantime they did a nice little write up on us here - http://www.southernfm.com.au/general/the-weathermen/
